I was searching something like that for long time now.
I have done a script that lunch 10 simulation on netrender with different parameters that you could put in. This way, I can see with kind of simulation I want, and tweek it.
I don't know if I will release it, I have really not work so much on it but your script is very intersting allso.

Looks promising ! Just one question... on what units are you working?
Would be great if we could change them (metrics cm etc etc) and still have the correct effect :)
